Dr Ammendolia’s Boot Camp Program for lumbar spinal stenosis has been a godsend.
I was in so much pain before enrolling in his Bootcamp that I would cry getting into and out of my car. I
would wake up at night in severe pain. The pain subsided and I was able to participate in life activities
again for over 10 years. The pain did return due to severe stenosis, and I needed surgery but grateful for
ability to be functional for so many years. I still do the Bootcamp Exercises since I know that surgery is
not a cure and the stenosis pain can come back again.

I am stronger now at 66 than I was at 40, and that’s because of the exercises I do for Dr. Ammendolia. When I reflect on my journey with stenosis the important thing is to stay positive and be focused on healing and be grateful always for the progress you do make. These days when I mow the lawn, all I feel is happiness. There was a time when I didn’t think I’d ever be able to do something so simple again. I hope that in sharing my story, even just one other person realizes that they can heal and recover. It takes hard work, but it is so worth it.”

I was diagnosed via MRI with severe spinal stenosis and ruptured vertebrae. I am 69 years old and have been in good health most of my life. Sciatic symptoms crept up on me over the last few years as I have aged. I started the Lumbar Spinal Stenosis Boot Camp exercises in Dec 2014 and did the exercises twice a day for 6 weeks. I started to notice some improvement almost immediately. I plan to continue on a very consistent basis going forward.

I recently attended a Spinal Stenosis Bootcamp presented by Dr Carlo Ammendolia. I found it to be a very informative, practical and pragmatic workshop dealing with patients with this very challenging disorder. Dr Ammendolia’s hands on approach makes sense and it is supported by sound evidence. He has packaged the approach in a systematic and organized manner. I would recommend this workshop to any clinician with patients who have failed with other approaches.
